1. Wash the tops thoroughly, chop finely and put them in a bowl.
  2. Add the salt pepper and a dash of lemon juice.
  3. Saute the tops in butter on a non stick pan.
  • Note: You can add garlic, olive oil, and pine nuts to the tops, then puree the combination. This will give you an earthy, delicious pesto for pasta or meats.
